Think Back
I will hazard a guess that most who come here were not born prior to 1960. 1960 I was twelve years old. By 1968 I was in the U.S. Navy headed to Vietnam. It matters not a wit to anyone but me but it gives a little “color” as to how I see life nowadays. I turned twenty-one in combat when my friends at home were probably partying heartily. This is when my disconnect occurred as to normal life and, looking back, I realize that was a good thing. Separation is what couples need when things get rocky in a relationship. “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Well. I’m not sure that doesn’t have a lot to do with the love of said couple but it is worth a muse or two.
Looking out my proverbial, “window at the world,” now is a rather disjointed spectacle as the change that is gripping the nation is not a good thing. We are evenly divided as to this country being a republic or a serfdom. The left wants serfs, the right wants freedom but the left is quite good at muddying the waters with blame about everything misdirected at the republic side and naught but pseudo-grace in all they say and do. If you are not blind you see through the left. I was once on that side after Vietnam so I am aware of smooth talkers hiding a gun behind their backs. Hoodlums is what the left are. Robbers and murderers at large just biding (Biden) their time to take over as kings and queens. If, that is, they can fool enough of us long enough to seize power.
My advice? If you want a republic rather than a serfdom elect republicans. Sure, they are idiots at times but it is the Constitution that they stand behind, not the hammer and sickle.
